Container Screens 2 bugs
@AndreAquila I'm back!
Container Screens 1.0.27, latest main build of Satisfactory
Running container screens as only mod, new game. (that's the attached debug)
Merely Annoying - the screens never despawn if the container is disassembled, and must be manually removed. Hadn't seen that before!
Reload needed - hitting 'E' on a screen pops the modal up, but never actually lets us interact with it. Have to open inventory to get mouse, but nothing is responsive, and the box seemingly cannot be dismissed at all without a save/reload.
Thanks again!

triggered by @Doug_OThanks for the info Doug. I couldnt reproduce it here yet. Is it singleplayer? If you downgrade to the previous version of the mod these bugs still in the game?
ORLY? That's interesting. I'll downgrade the mod and see what happens. (EDIT: downgrade to 1.0.24 fixes all problems. I'll just try to ignore the 'update this!' flag for now)
I do have a savegame of minimal activity before creating a container, would that help as well?
Yeah, it's SP, I'm a hermit with no friends to play with. dramatic sniffle
Can confirm the screens stay when dismantling. Also sp
Hmm, i think the new version will auto-dismantle.. Sorry about that.. let me know! 🙂
Confirmed, screens now despawn correctly. However, the other bug where the config screen appears and cannot be interacted with (or dismissed) is still present.
Hmmm Some players still have that bug Doug. Are you using the Stable version updated to the last version? If you have some time, can you verify files from the game to see if it fix that bug?
Maybe its something related to that. Im still trying here
Verification successful with no replacements. Confirmed I am running the stable branch at latest update. Lemme know how else I can help narrow things down.
One thing that may be of note (I'm not familiar with the details of mod-to-app interaction) but since that window appears centered (instead of on the right) and accepts no input, that suggests that the UI isn't getting the handle of that window and cannot interact with it? (since one of the first things I suspect it would do is reposition). Eh, shooting in the dark there.

Hmm, good info...
im trying with a new type of widget, derivative from the one we have in the last version.
The main noticeable difference is that when you press E, it closes the widget.

I'm uploading the new version now. Hopefully, it resolves the issue. Doug, I apologize for the inconvenience. To be honest, I'm still uncertain about the cause, as it consistently works on my end.
Unfortunately for me it remains centered & unresponsive with the latest 1.0.29 release. The only thing I can think of on my end is un/reinstall of the entire game. shrug 1.0.24 works fine...and you owe me no apology, sir. Thank you for all the "free ice cream" enhancing my favorite game.
Thanks for all testing. Must be some small difference in the new Unreal Engine project to SML 3.10 that is causing it, hopefully it will be updated soon and this bug will go away.
