Subdomain problem
Hey everyone,
I’m facing an issue with SSL protection for a subdomain and could really use some help.
Here’s the setup:
- I’m using cPanel for managing my website.
- I’ve got a subdomain (e.g., triangle.theveryheavy.eu) that’s not under SSL protection.
- I’m relying on Cloudflare for SSL certificates (using the universal Cloudflare SSL), but it's only working for the main domain (theveryheavy.eu), not the subdomain.
- I haven't manually set any SSL certificates in cPanel, as I’m letting Cloudflare handle everything.
What I’ve tried so far:
1. I’ve checked Cloudflare's settings (SSL mode set to Flexible).
2. I’ve ensured DNS records are correct in Cloudflare.
3. I’ve cleared cache, tried using Incognito mode, etc.
4. I’ve checked the SSL/TLS settings in cPanel and confirmed there’s no SSL set up for the subdomain.
5. I’ve also ensured the DNS records for the subdomain are pointed correctly (A record for triangle).
However, SSL doesn’t seem to be applied to the subdomain, even though Cloudflare should handle it with its universal SSL cert.
Has anyone else run into this problem, or know what I might be missing? Any guidance would be much appreciated!

I have a similar problem where my subdomains will not load. Following for an answer. Did you resolve it?
cloudflare will only provide ssl for domain and first level subdomain
For example:
Example.com - has cloudflare ssl
1subdomain.example.com - has cloudflare
2subdomain.1subdomain.example.com - wont have cloudflare ssl (unless you pay for it)
Yea, I know it already. My all subdomains are first level. The problem was not resolved.
can you provide the url??
Idk how but today it was fixed. It took whole week I guess.
Thanks guys for everything.
welcome probably it was cached by browser or cloudflare
