Kakishibu aging

Eyeing the Yoko Sakamoto kakishibu bag, but a lot of the appeal over just regular canvas is how it will age. Does anyone have long term experience with this stuff? Does it break in nice? Get kinda orangey? What’s the deal

It has been breaking in quite nicely, it was stiff as a rock when I bought it The guy in the store i got it from at grays had a full set and his stuff was fully faded It was a LOT lighter than mine currently is, and ive owned mine for only a few weeks Very much depends on what dye result you get too, there was a kakishibu jacket that was alot darker than mine, almost closer to a black

Yeah the bag I’m looking it is pretty black But I’ve seen some that fade to crazy orange Which I’m not interested in

The one i saw on the owner of the store faded to a beige Didnt really see any orange at all? But it really could depend, im pretty new to denim myself The owners did tell me it would only get lighter, not change tints
