Crashing While Trying To Load In
The game just shows a black screen then crashes without telling me why. I have tried restarting my PC and I have tried running it as Admin. Wasn't having this issue until recent update.

if your cpu driver is faulty then your whole computer would be having problems
I am on the side that its something Valorant sided and will hopefully be resolved soon
its a problem with the update something is wrong with the file directory i think

not sure why you are saying im a clown when i have computer engineering experience
uninstalling your drivers will not help your computer
if you have an older driver set, you can update them from geforce experience
if you dont have that installed then install it since it makes nvidia drivers very easy to install
then check if your game works
if it doesnt, try playing another game or running a benchmark software
if it crashes your computer or turns off your screen output then you can try and hard reset your GPU software
i highly doubt thats the problem
and if it is then goodluck because that is going to be a headache and hours wasted

i think i just found the issue, valorant requires vgc (a service file) which is basically just the anti cheat. It must be running and able to communicate with valorant in order for the game to launch. My guess is there must be a file directory issue where the two cannot read file IO from each other since everytime i launch the VALORANT app vgc isnt being used
i assume it was caused by the update not properly downloading to the files the game was already present in
if this is the case only thing you can do is either wait or try and put things together like a puzzle and hope it works
and hope the anti cheat doesnt ban you because your files are in different than expected locations

was playing fine yesterday, updated the game tofay and it wouldnt launch, updated my drivers and didnt work. 99% sure its valorants new update thats the problem cause so many of us are having the exact same issue on different hardware

@kaiju i clean installed my nvidia graphics drivers again. I use NVCleanstall for my driver updates and they give you the option to clean install it

Btw if u mean that vgc isn't using the cpu and is at 0% cpu utilization then it is normal. It is supposed to be like that
Also that would just result in the game not opening at all or giving a vanguard error, not a black screen
Anyone got fixes? I’ve been having this problem since morning, I did those yt turtorials with the valorant properties thing and it didn’t work then reinstalling also failed. Ik it’s not my pc cause I macroed a game and left it on for 6 hours straight without an issue

the update was introduced right after one of my games

bro NVidia dropped drivers the same day Valorant launched the update
tbh I was lost from the get go. I hate messing with anything on or setup on my pc (this inlcudes Drivers) cause I dont want to fuck it up
but I do have to admit it worked
I think a lot people that have this issue is because Nvidia dropped new drivers same day as Valorant update at least they sent out the new drivers March 18th so maybe people didnt have it updated yet

What I did was followed his instructions on Nvida.
Just download like this NVidea app and you should get this option for a game ready driver or smthn when you open it and it essentially just installs your latest driver for you

I have this issue too, after update i couldn’t enter game anymore, my mouse freeze in left upper corner (which i can’t move anymore) while BlackScreen then Crash.
I tried every possible solution, tried to solve it yesterday with friends, even spoke thru tickets with Valorant people and nothing is working so far.
Whatever i did, nothing changed, so i guess it’s just Riot thing..i think it’s best to wait for the New Update/Fix from them.
