Hey guys, I'm having an embed specific issue with filtering: more details in 🧵

I have a word document here of my scenario. This works fine in Thoughtspot but for some reason this specific filter on this dashboard does not work embedded. All the other dashboards work but this one seems to have an internal server error issue by the looks of it

Can you DM me the HAR file. Also are you using any filter constructs in your code i.e. runtime filters or ABAC or something which might prevent setting of the filter. The HAR file will help though
Sure thing, no runtime filters as far as I'm aware. It's possible their might be ABAC setup but I'd have to ask our data engineers.

Hey @Jack , we ahd seen this issue previously, can you check if the column on which you are trying the filter out is hidden or if you have the access to the underlying data sources or not. Something related to your permissions or the filter column properties should be causing this. If it is still not resolved I recommend to create a support ticket for this so that the relevant team can help you here

Would that be the case if it only worked in thoughtspot directly and not an embedded liveboard?
Is the user same? Is the column being used in some other place for filter?
But yeah if the user (in TS accessing the liveboard) is same then it might require some looking into
