Can I Add Site as subdomain?
Hello Cloudflare,
I am the owner of a project that provides free subdomains. Currently, we are using Cloudflare to manage the main domain of the project.
However, our users want to be able to manage their subdomains directly on their personal Cloudflare accounts. This means they want to add the project's subdomains to their own Cloudflare accounts.
To meet this need of our users, we are considering switching to another DNS provider.
We would very much like to continue using Cloudflare's services. Therefore, we would like to ask if there is any possibility for our users to add the project's subdomains to their Cloudflare accounts.
Thank you for Cloudflare's support.

I mean use a different DNS provider for the main domain, and use its subdomains on Cloudflare
but my user want to use it with Cloudflare
@Leo sorry for ping, but what should I do to help me user can using subdomain to Cloudflare?
@William I know it's not the solve you want, but you can achieve this really easily with AWS Route53. You can create a parent zone and then create multiple subdomain zones and add the NS records to the parent zone.
If your customers are willing you can grant them permissions to the zone you create, or they can just give you NS servers from any other provider and you can add them in.
Just bear in mind that you basically loose control of that sub domain for the most part if they give you NS servers. But the actions of that subdomain could still affect the apex domain in terms of black listings. You're also left with the bill for lookup requests if their sub domain gets busy. Just think about this carefully if you really want to do it.
Another option is to create an API that handles the creation and management of records. This also allows you to curate the records and keep full control over the domain, while still allowing your customers to create records.
I've looked at this kind of setup before in cloudflare and can confirm that it is basically impossible.
I'm still doing it, providing NS for the user's subdomain
But they want to use it with Cloudflare
Sounds like your users need to each buy their own domain if they want to use Cloudflare. Domains are cheap, so that shouldn't really be a problem for most people.
But sometimes I need it too
