Poor Performacve after coming back from windows

I built a little steam machine using a Lenovo m920q and an amd rx6400. Played pretty much every game and I was curious to see how it would handle windows so I loaded windows on it and cleared the drive. I had to repartition the drive anyways because I did it wrong anyways so I was having fun. Anyways, windows sucked so I reinstalled bazzite with the steam os and now my games are playing much worse. I updated the os in the desktop mode thinking it was driver issues and still no luck. I'll get decent frames in my games but then just huge fps losses and stutters like I never had before. On Windows repo actually played very well and I was getting well above 120fps or something like that and it was smooth. Do I maybe just need to redownload the os again? I'd prefer not to but I'd just like to avoid it if possible. I mainly play repo, phas and other small games like those. In repo I'll get like 25fps which I know is not right, any help would be appreciated. . make sure you have performance selected in power settings
is that in the desktop mode? I searched for it in settings and didn't see anything, I'm thinking what you are though because I just intalled decky tdp and got a notification I was at 42% battery even though I'm a mini pc with a 135w brick.
