Playit.gg alternative
Im running my own minecraft server at home for both Java and bedrock (via geyser). Ive been using playit.gg for a public ip address for People to join and its worked great so far. However one of the two big ISPs in my Country suddenly has like 300ms on playit Domains (has been like that for a few weeks) instead of 20ms, the other one is completely fine on 20ms. Ive contacted their support about it but they have been very unhelpful so i dont think its gonna Change any time soon. So now im Looking for free alternatives that provide tcp tunnels with fixed ips, however i havent found anything functional yet, so anyone got any reccomendations?

send the full (unedited) traceroute to playit.gg along with the client's ISP and their IP address

are you in oceania/apac?
nope, eu (germany to be exact), the playit dashboard tells me that its using servers relatively close (frankfurt). The ping issues only happen with a certain isp
what happens when you run a traceroute (using winmtr for windows or mtr on linux) against the ip that playit.gg gives you?
SourceForge
WinMTR
Download WinMTR for free. WinMTR is a free MS Windows visual application that combines the functionality of the traceroute and ping in a single network diagnostic tool.
it may or may not show your IP at the top of the result, so you may want to be careful with that
it's most likely a routing issue. Normally if you email the right person, it can be fixed pretty easily
thats what i was thinking aswell, guess ill try contacting their support again. Winmtr fails to resolve the hostname however the tunnels are all running and im able to connect to them without problems
get the IP address from https://mcsrvstat.us under the debug dropdown once you put in the domain
alternatively, you can get the "real" dns record by doing
nslookup -type=srv _minecraft._tcp.hypixel.net
, just replace hypixel.net with the full domain you put into minecraftgot it, i dunno exactly what im supposed to be looking for but the ping seems ok at least?

yeah that looks about normal
sorry when you said one of the ISPs has high latency, is it for people joining the server, or is it when you host the server from that isp?
Its for the people that join the server. players from one isp are fine with like 20ms, players from the other isp are on like 300ms
can you get one of the people from the other isp to try the same winmtr test?
sure, heres one from the other ISP

yeah, they're getting routed to india
Solution
send the full (unedited) traceroute to playit.gg along with the client's ISP and their IP address
so its playits issue after all?
it should be something that their support would be able to resolve
alright, thank you very much for your help, ill get in touch with playit then
