Sterically hindered in terms of hydroboration refers only to alkyl groups present on the double bonded carbon itself.

so aas paas kuch bhi 3 deg > 2deg in terms of sterically hindered ??
Haan, doesn't really matter since it's well out of the way because of tetrahedral geometry.
