Mouse settings in Game Mode (Gamescope)

Is there no way to set mouse settings like sensitivity while in Game Mode? As it is now, I'm forced to play Diablo 2 with a very low sensitivity when playing with mouse+keyboard. Also looking for a way to toggle "Disable while typing" for my touchpad like I can do in Desktop Mode, so that I can play games with my laptop's touchpad.

I am also willing to do this with terminal commands if needed

no all settings you have are the ones steam exposes. if you play with mouse and keyboard i think playing through desktop mode would be the better way to do it since it is meant for keyboard and mouse

yeah i know. but gamescope has its benefits though.. also desktop mode (KDE) is pretty limited anyway. i can only increase my mouse sensitivity to 2x of what it defaults to, i actually wanted it faster.. having disable while typing enabled in gamescope doesn't make any sense to me tho, as it's not primarily for typing but i guess you could argue there are some use cases where it makes sense

you can run gamescope in the desktop mode, i do this all the time

yeah i know, but i feel like that defeats its purpose since desktop mode still runs in the background

gamemode is designed for couch play, meaning controller first

yeah, i know, and i use it for that too, but i like to use it always it's very low latency because simple compositing for example, and it has a nice set of settings also it just gets rid of all the unnecessary stuff in the background by default which i love not to mention the fact that Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is just blackscreening in desktop mode while running great in gamescope
