Custom Domain Issues
Hi, email support hasn't responded in two days. Can someone please help assist why the custom domain isn't validating? I've tried readding it, I've tried changing it. If we can't sort this out this week I'm going to have to change vendors. I have never had this much trouble with DNS /custom domains ever.

I see, but the
acme-challenge CNAME record is set correctly. What remains is creating the auth subdomain and pointing it to eu.kinde.com. Since you're using Cloudflare, here are the steps to add a CNAME record for auth pointing to eu.kinde.com in Cloudflare:

1. Log in to Cloudflare
- Go to the Cloudflare dashboard and enter your credentials.
2. Select Your Domain
- Locate and click on zabaan.app to access its settings.
3. Access DNS Settings
- Navigate to the DNS tab to manage your domain's records.
4. Add a New CNAME Record
- Click on "Add record".
- Set the Type to CNAME.
- In the Name field, enter auth.
- In the Target field, enter eu.kinde.com.
- Ensure the Proxy status is set to DNS only (indicated by a gray cloud icon).
5. Save Your Changes
- Click Save to apply the new CNAME record.
Let me know if you run into any issues!Sorry your right, I've been trying auth.zabaan.app for a while, then I switched to authenticate, and then back to auth - I changed the challenge but forgot to put auth back again. I was here the first time I asked for help over email, and it never succeeded, and it never succeeded with authentication either , so to be honest I'm expecting to report back here tomorrow that it still isnt' working but lets cross our fingers
@Tyler Beaumont cloudflare actually strips the period that Kinde site provide when I copy and paste it, I was wondering if that was related, but I can't even get the period to stay in

alright, reverted to this for now.
I guess that was the issue. It seems pretty odd to me that we have to do it this way, I've never had to add both a challenge and the subdomain and flip the proxy setting like this
No worries, it happens! Yes, the proxy status should be set to DNS only (gray cloud) at first, and then after receiving the email, you’ll need to change it back to Proxied. Glad you caught that step—you're definitely not the only one who’s missed it!
