Wifi Roaming drops connection
Wifi roaming keeps dropping connection in approximately 10 minute intervals. It aggresively swaps APs even after locking via router side. Setting a BSSID in the settings in KDE works as a temporary workaround. I noticed this while using moonlight on an asus rog ally x. I would have a high network jitter spike and router showed the ap hopping taking place. Disabling wifi power saving did not help.

Adding a lil more context to this. I set a separate ssid ap as well now to test. When logging into these where there is no competing aps no issue. The moment I switch to the shared ssid I get the 10 minute~ scan and ap hop that causes network jitter to spike
Did you ever find a fix? @TheGreenOne
No only workaround atm for me is to prevent the roaming by assigning two different ssids
Oof
This is most likely an upstream fedora issue. But would be nice if someone smarter than me knew how to disable the roaming in the os and we could add an on / off toggle to a sub menu
