Vintage tees and scaring people over 50

I love band tees and have been slowly buying over the past 10 years or so. For a bit I’ve been second guessing if it’s appropriate to wear. Is this black flag tee too much to be wearing casually on the weekends? I think it’s awesome but I want to run it past yall before I make any purchases. I own the ministry shirt shown here and have definitely second guessed the graphic a few times. Please give me some new perspective. Am I worrying too much about this imagery or should I hold off on buying the black flag tee?

Might turn heads but I don't think it'll genuinely offend anyone

I feel like you have to look at the black flag shirt for a bit to see what's going on, not super noticeable

Yeah I ran it past the gf and it took her a bit to realize who’s legs are there lol

I agree with raisin that it takes a sec to get what's going on with the black flag shirt, but once you clock it, it strikes a note. Is a passerby going to notice? Probably not. But at the end of the day, "appropriate to wear" really depends on the setting you're in and the company you keep. Your gf probably has a better sense of when and how you're going to wear it and whether it's right for you and what you're trying to go for. We are just Internet strangers with varied tastes and styles.

These seem like cool shirts from cool bands, but not particularly "scary". But I am turning 50 tomorrow, and maybe everything will be different then. 🙂
