GPU power supply issue after installing Bazzite

I've just installed Bazzite and my asus 3080 gpu has started flashing 3 red lights. A bit googling shows it's apparently an issue with power supply but I've got a 850W Gigabyte Ultra Durable 80+ Gold PSU and been running the same hardware for years on windows without this being an issue so I'm suspicious of it being a hardware issue. Have there been any known issues with Bazzite and power supply? Maybe it's something to do with drivers?
Solution:
hopefully it will be enough to just re-seat the cables

zero, none, bazzite has no way to touch the psu higher chance that the cable isnt seated properly or the cable or psu port went bad. Gigabyte isnt exactly known for making reliable PSUs

hmm I'll open it up and check the ports/cables but that still seems suspicious that it would happen at the exact same time. Unless you've got any ideas on how it could be related?
