Issue with squarespace mapping on a subdomain of my domain
Hey all, quite new to anything sysadmin, just doing it as a hobby to access my NAS from anywhere. I have a domain through Cloudflare, and I'd like to use cloud.example.net as my access to nextcloud, but when I do this I get a splash screen from squarespace saying that this domain has been mapped to squarespace? But I can claim it in my DNS records somewhere? I haven't been able to figure out what it wants me to do yet.
I did add this as a cname pointing to my main domain of course, and all my other subdomains are working through my reverse proxy as they should be

What do you mean by "of course I added a CNAME pointing to my main domain"? Does your main domain work with your NAS?
Yes it does. Everything except that subdomain works fine
For example I have im.example.net hooked up to go to my immich and example.net goes to my homepage
Do you have anythign on Squarespace? If the request ends up with them, something needs to point there.
Can you share your actual DNS records?
I do not, but yes I can

not sure how important it is to blur that
I'll need to know the domain at least.
I don't currently have my homepage set up though
but i dmd you my domain
I don't see the Squarespace page, I just get a 525 error
on my main domain or the subdomain?
both
odd
my main page should be the nginx splash screen
let me check
immich is working though
I see "You've successfully started the Nginx Proxy Manager." if I try http, but https doesn't work
ohhh it's disabled in nginx
that's why
I tshould be up now
I just haven't set up my homepage, that's why it was disabled
wtf
now it's working...? I think?
looks good
Yeah... odd. Maybe squarespace had something there and then when I treid to claim it they freed it up? i have no idea how that works, but either way the problem is resolved!
Thank you so much for your help!
