Decent choice for gig/wet weather shoes?

I’ve been looking for a pair of shoes for going to metal concerts and wet weather. I’ve been wanting something with Cordura because it’s a durable material, my backpack is made of it. I enjoy the comfort of Vans so I’m glad to see that they now have shoes with Cordura. Would either of these be a good choice? https://www.culturekings.com.au/products/vans-old-skool-cordura-mix-black https://www.vans.com.au/old-skool-cordura-vn000ct8lkz-blu.html

Btw, I would probably swap the laces on the black shoes for white

How wet are we talking? Cordura is ime better than canvas, but it's not waterproof. I think vans has an mte like for actual weather

Just general rain, nothing crazy If it was serious I’d wear actual rain boots These ones? https://www.vans.com.au/mte-crosspath-vn000cvuba2-blk.html

MTE is just the descriptor they use for waterproofing, they have several models with MTE variants. Prefer the old skools you linked earlier than these

That’s what I was thinking. The MTE are good for outdoor activities but not really for concerts, bars, and general city stuff If I need specific wet weather outdoor gear, definitely, but not atm

I know you linked a couple sneakers, but what about some boots. I feel most good leather boots would be water resistant to a degree, or maybe look specifically for water resistant, and would last a long time as well if taken care of. I also found my ropers to be about as comfortable as my vans (for walking around at least) after they were broken in, but this goes for most well made leather boots not just western cuts. Figured a boot that fits with your style would be perfect for concerts, bars, or wet weather

I’m mostly focused on concert/bar/club attire which is not warm. I live in a hot/humid area, mostly 20-34°c Which boots would you recommend? Something good for hot/humid weather?

What type of clothes do you like wearing there’s plenty of options I personally like roper boots but that’s just me There’s also combat boots, heritage boots like redwing, dressier boots like our legacy camions(there’s a bunch of similar and more affordable options) Theres a bunch of nicher designs too like Jodhper boots and tanker boots, but these are a little harder to find

You seem to really want these sneakers. Just buy them, you don't need us to confirm (or shoot down) your choice repeatedly.

That’s fair. I just like to ask to see if anyone knows any better alternatives
