Game mode on Legion Go does not use the whole screen

There is a black bezel around my screen in game mode, it is running at the wrong resolution. This does not happen in Windows or desktop mode. I'm using Bazzite for handhelds (so with KDE). I have only seen one report on the forum about this where the problem solved itself through a reinstallation. https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/legion-go-steam-game-mode-at-the-wrong-resolution/899
Solution:
Woohoo I got it! I followed these steps to change the UI scale for the internal display from "somewhere in the middle" to "max". https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/1037#issuecomment-2091963653 I am not sure why the internal display was not already on max? Besides playing around with Waydroid once, this was a pretty boring Bazzite installation (not even Decky before today)....

literally cannot replicate on my legion go, gamemode (gamescope session) runs at the screens native resolution always and cannot be changed.

When I go to a game's properties and set the resolution to 2560x1600, it still does not use the full screen. I'm not even sure how to debug it. Maybe install Decky + Terminal and ps aux | grep gamescope to read its parameters? Hmm...Decky Terminal won't quite work 😦 Thanks for trying to reproduce it. Time for bed here now.

It's a bit late and dark here, but in my photo there is the hardware bezel (deep dark) and then a few black software pixels around the screen. It's not a huge bezel either, so not running at full HD or another common resolution. I didn't have Decky installed when I took the picture, so that can't be it 😦
