Not enough space on / filesystem for RPM transactions
My / has over 600GB free, yet terminal seems to think there is no space on it. I'm receiving "X needs Y more space on the / filesystem" for any RPM install. Notably, I got this when trying to install Wine (sudo dnf install wine) because Lutris thinks I don't have Wine (despite me definitely having it).

dont install system wide wine
just use proton ge or wine ge
ok but the game then doesnt start
i also get that error when trying to install other RPM packages, like I cant install mullvad rpm either
i changed nothing and moved nothing
don't use dnf
use rpm-ostree
also for mulvad you can import wireguard config instead of using mullvad client
so what would the command for an rpm ostree wine install be

as said earlier, ignore the warning about system wine missing, use a wine version provided by lutris or download a proton version for lutris to use and use that. system wine is extremely wrong to use.

ok but i still cant run the game through lutris
it just does not start, ive tried using the default lutris wine and ge proton with it
i dont own any games that require the use of lutris myself. Kyle is the person more familiar with using it, he is busy prepping for SCALE atm
also wont be easy for anyone to help without any log from the game trying to run
do you know where lutris stores error logs?
it should just have a button that will show you the log iirc, as i said i dont use lutris sadly as all my games are on steam

the wine version you're using, are they installed from lutris' runners settings? or from protonplus/protonup?
i never installed a wine because i never found a way to and i assumed it was baked into lutris from install
i installed lutris through the prompts i got when i first got bazzite

protonup-qt if it makes a difference, but ok im there
then install proton-ge for lutris (not for steam) from the protonup/protonplus interface

ok select install for Steam not lutris (not familiar w protonup-qt myself lol)
then select the newest (GE-Proton-9-25). it should then be available for selection on lutris runners selector

no worries. idk if it makes a difference but i am running it off a flash drive atm, lemme see if moving it to primary storage makes it work somehow
im also on nvidia so random game issues seem kinda par for the course

you don't need to install Proton to Lutris, it uses the Steam ones from umu

still moving it to primary storage, ill give it a shot after
there's also Heroic Launcher, they have an integration with GOG
we recommend heroic for gog

i may just redownload it, theres a chance it just got corrupted at some point or im missing an important file
yeah lutris launches other games as normal
so at this point im now assuming theres just gotta be something up with my install
i'll reinstall and that may just do it. on hotspot at the moment and cant spare the data until im back on home internet, ill come back here in a day or two once i reinstall if there's still issues

sort of, but stock Proton is still not recommended outside of Steam. umu might help, but GE-Proton is built for use with umu
