banned for unauthorized third-party software?
I was banned unknowingly 2 days ago, and ever since then, I can't play on any account on the same device, otherwise they would be suspended too. I didn't know the reason and it didn't give me a duration on how long my ban would last for, so I made a ticket on the RIOT Support website, and they told me I was banned for 14 days- for apparently having detected unauthorized third-party software on my device. I'm confused because I've never touched cheats before?? Would medal be considered unauthorized? Discord? Cloudfare?? Which I use to lower my ping and packet loss because I get insane amounts of packet loss in-game.

Might possibly be some sort of virus which vanguard might confuse its behaviour for, However if the ban was for because of it it'd likely be 4 months.

An update on this, I found malware on my PC.
Vanguard might've checked on those and thought they were cheats.
I would get them removed
I'd say it's unlikely that a genuine program has caused this issue, me & my friends have all used Valorant Tracker, OverWolf, Blitz before - some of them still use Blitz. We all have keyboard software, mouse software, headphone software; none of us have ever been banned. I even use Razer's new SnapTap feature and I've never been banned personally.
Chances are you've got something on your system that's causing Vanguard to detect it, not everything that is running is in your taskbar - to see what is actually running, go into task manager, some tasks, especially malware, is hidden.
I'd say do a fresh install of Windows after removing the viruses.
Riot Employees aren't allowed to share details of the ban because then you're basically telling cheaters, or cheat-developers, exactly why they were banned, what specifically was detected, etc.

You can try but I doubt it. They'd just say it's your own fault for allowing malware onto your PC by not downloading w/ caution.

I mean ibsr, you don't actually know if the malware had any affect on Val or not.
You don't know what sort of malware it was, what the intentions of the malware is, etc.
To stop it happening again, it's pretty obv, just have a fresh install of Windows, ensure no malware on PC, find a better site to pirate if you're going to pirate, because chances r you've got the malware from pirated copies of games, only install trusted programs.
