VAN ERROR -79
in valorant im getting VAN ERROR -79 and when i try to turn on service it says this

- Open the Task Manager > Details tab
- End the task on all VALORANT, Riot Client and VANGUARD-related apps/services
- Open the Control Panel > Uninstall a Program
- Uninstall Riot VANGUARD
- Open CMD as Admin and type these commands:
- sc delete vgc
- sc delete vgk
- Navigate to your C: Drive, then Program Files
- Find the VANGUARD folder and delete it
- Open the Riot Client and click update
- Restart your computer after the update
After you’re done with that:
- Press Windows key + R
- Type services.msc
- Look for vgc
- Right-click on vgc > Properties
- Change the startup type to automatic
- Start the services (if not started already)

i did this
but again at last step when i try to start vgc it says this
and now i open valorant and it say's the same issue

bcdedit.exe /set testsigning off
bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks off
Show result for both
Try to start the vgc service again
Also set its startup type to automatic
still same issue

when i launch valorant it say's starting but then the error comes on valorant of -79 and then i quit

did you get van -81 before this one?
van -79 should be the vanguard driver if i remeber correctly
if you've set up your windows for selective startup/disabled some startup settings
this one
do you know how to access your regedit on windows, once you find and enable it in there, should be good unless it's missing
Yeah wayy before time but I reseted the pc and it was working fine but I encounter this 😭
-81 should be caused by this and probably got fixed since it rebooted on startup which just leaves the driver
