VAN-79 error
getting it every time i boot up the game, says its a "connection error" but my internet is perfectly fine

i got kicked while i was in the middle of a game due to it
are you able to reproduce this?
yeah i have tried starting the game a few times and as soon as i boot it up i get this error
i have restarted my pc and still same thing
can you open command prompt and enter
sc query vgk
sc query vgc
and send a screenshot pls
your vanguard install is in a weird state
try uninstalling it from control panel and then reinstalling it through riot client again
it might be because i tried uninstalling vanguard and then was going to reinstall it to fix the error

wait it just let me uninstall vanguard im gonna restart and install it again

ok lets try this- uninstall vanguard from control panel again, and before you reinstall it, exit riot client and run it as admin instead
and then install vanguard
same error as earlier

ok let's try to reset everything, uninstall vanguard from control panel again and confirm the riot vanguard folder is deleted
and then shutdown the system and start up with the power button

well i mean it still has the logs and stuff
what now? - it doesnt let me manually delete the folder cause its running in the background and i have looked in task manager and it doesnt let me close the vanguard user mode service process
when you try to close vgc does task manager give you an error? can you take a screenshot of that?

it just doesnt close
hmm ok, maybe try rebooting and see if that allows you to uninstall vanguard properly
at that point vgc should not be running anymore
