OpenRGB: One or more I2C/SMBus interfaces failed to initialize.
I'm running Bazzite on a GPD Win MAX 2 (2024) and installed OpenRGB via the Bazzite Portal. Now I'm getting the following message:
WARNING: One or more I2C/SMBus interfaces failed to initialize.
The help page that is linked from there unfortunately doesn't support linux, so I'm unsure how to proceed here. I presume it's a bug because the software was included in the Bazzite Portal and thus should work, but I could also imagine that it is a problem with my specific hardware.

Well
you are not running openrgb for the win max 2
because it doesnt have RGB
Maybe he is using a dock with RGB
Should start with that
I've got the same message on desktop with plenty of rgb devices
I've got a Logitech G502 and a Razer Deathstalker attached to the Win MAX 2, and since recently also a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XT via an eGPU dock. But more importantly, I don't see why having or not having RGB-Devices should pertain to the error. If I have no RGB devices I'd expect the app to simply not show any devices, not throw an error.
You don't have an i2c/smbus on that device
And that error has nothing to do with USB devices
There is no problem here
