vangaurd and everything
Can you send me the vanguard logs please
same with me rn
how do i do that
C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\Logs
there are 2 logs documents
here
also after reinstalling i've restarted my pc
but not seeing vanguard running in the bg in my system tray
Press windows key + r
Type services.msc
Find vgc
Right click > properties
Change startup type to automatic
And click on start
it worked, do i have to do this everytime before opening val?
No, unless for some reason it stops running.
yep it keeps happening
Does it happen intermittently on game launch?
yea i have to start the vgc in the services
could you elaborate? do you mean you can only play valorant when you start vgc manually before you launch the game?
yes even if the vgc is on automatic
gotcha, could you tell me what your pc spec is? what kind of cpu do you have and how much ram?
intel hd 520, 8gb ram and i5 6th gen
btw once i exited vanguard on the system tray
do you know the exact model number of the cpu?
since then im getting this problem
6200 u
it stopped again after i closed the game

yeah, vgc is not supposed to run outside of a game session
i have to start the vgc so the open could open
wanna try something that might fix it?
try what
can you try opening regedit and go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control

and change ServicesPipeTimeout to 90000?
in decimal
and then reboot the system and try playing valorant again
aight i'll try later
Did you get the error if you don’t start service first? :susdge:
yes
i cant find ServicesPipeTimeout

Try creating one yourself, name it ServicesPipeTimeout and of type DWORD
