Higher CPU clock and fan noise at idle since latest stable release 41.20250227

Hi, I have upgraded to the latest stable release (41.20250227: Stable). Am running the gnome deck variant on a 7840HS CPU/iGPU mini pc. On the previous stable release, the CPU would clock down at idle to 400Mhz, however in the new stable, at idle, the CPU only clocks down to between 1.1 and 1.4Ghz, is this expected behaviour due to new kernel or scheduler? The increased fan noise at idle drew my attention to this.

@antheas , my mini PC is a GMKtec K6 and has a AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU, with 32GB DDR5 5600 RAM and a 1TB Gen4 SSD. The PPD profile set in Gnome, has not changed and is set to Balanced. Output of "ujust device-info" located here https://paste.centos.org/view/7220e0a9

Those logs are useless. Do journalctl -b | fpaste

Ok, seems weird that it clocks higher now at idle

What's the best way for me to identify the most active process? I have looked at htop and pipewire is using around 1% intermittently
