Intel Haswell iGPU issues
I'm using Aurora not Bazzite, but it's possible this might affect bazzite as well.
The last two releases on the aurora:stable branch seem to be causing either the kde panels to stop responding, or the screen to start glitching out and turning off randomly for about a second.
This is my only intel machine, so I don't know if it affects any other hardware yet. I've seen another ticket in here mention something about missing packages for video acceleration which might be related to this. (but I kinda doubt it)
This is a 12yr old laptop, so I don't mind if support get's dropped for it. But it'd be nice to see my thinkpad be useful for another couple years. (it has 8gb ram and a 1440p display)

my guess is that KDE is trying to use the incomplete Vulkan api for Haswell. I've seen simular bugs with other programs when I've tried to use vulkan on it.
Is there a enviroment flag I can use to turn vulkan off on this thing?
everything seems to work fine on 41.20250209.1
run vkcube in the terminal
it might be trying to use llvmpipe
fwiw I have a haswell laptop and kde works fine on it
what os/version you on? Might be a Aurora issue
im on bazzite
could be, good thing you can easily rebase afaik (do confirm from someone else here)
