Levi's Men's 501 Original Fit Jeans
Close your eyes. Think “jeans.” Now open. They were 501 Originals, right? With a classic straight leg and iconic styling, they’re literally the blueprint for every pair of jeans in existence—burned into the world’s collective cortex ever since Levi Strauss (the man himself!) introduced them in 18...

501s are a good classic sillouette and those sweatshirts are in the same vein
if you want to try and get the most value for your dollar, you could consider looking for second hand older levis 501s. Stretch materials dont tend to stand the test of time, and I've found build quality of modern levis isn't what it used to be.
the PRL sweatshirts from my eye test seem to be on the pricier side for what they are. If you have the room in your budget, it might be worth considering sweaters from lower profile brands like Dubbleworks or Warehouse & CO. My favourite item in my wardrobe (wearing it as I type) is a plain grey sweatshirt from Real McCoys, going for these style of heritage-made sweaters will give you a lot more durability and comfort. They're pricy sure, but you can be a bit more confident in the quality you're getting for your dollar.

When it comes to vintage inspired leisurewear, it doesn’t come much more iconic than the beloved ‘Double V’ sweatshirt. This model from Japan’s Dubbleworks brand falls into their Tsuriami range in which only the finest cottons have been selected, and woven on vintage loop wheel knitting machines to ensure the best qual
Thank you! I will take a look now 👍
NP! I think you've made some great picks for basics that can hold a spot in a wardrobe for a long time, so might as well make sure you're getting the best quality for your money
Do you know if it comes in a small at all?
conventional names for sizes really dont mean much, you should get your measurements if you plan on shopping online. I’m sure theres some guides around here that can point you in the right direction
im normally a small/medium, and ended up taking a large for my Real McCoys for example. sizes like s/m/l arent universal and you’ll find a lot of variance between brands
Thank you for your help it’s much appreciated. Just took a look at the size guides and yes it is a lot different
