Copying files with Admin authentication
So I got myself a retro handheld device. It's using Linux as an OS but to be more specific, I installed a fork of Batocera in its microSD. It's currently using ext4 file system.
So here's my problem, I need help on how to bypass this. I plugged in the storage via USB and I couldn't copy my roms to it. I had to run administration mode in order to proceed with the file copy. But.... It expires in like every 5 minutes and tells me to re authenticate every time. How do I bypass this? I have like 100 more files to copy down.

why do you even need admin to copy anything to the drive anyway? are mount permissions messed up? does it only run as root?
Yeah it only runs at root. Sadly.
