black screen after setting new wallpaper engine wallpaper
Hello all, I was attempting to change my wallpaper engine wallpaper today. Upon doing so, I immediately got a black screen and all my windows closed. Currently I can't open the application menu (start menu), but I can see my mouse and launch applications with the overview menu (put my mouse in the top left corner to launch)
i've tried the following commands
systemctl restart display-manager
kwriteconfig5 --file ~/.config/plasmashellrc --group Containments --group 1 --group Wallpaper --group org.kde.image --key Image "file:///user/share/wallpapers/Steam Deck Logo 10.jpg"
pkill -9 wallpaper-engine
systemctl restart plasma-plasmashell
reboot

Not all wallpaper engine features are supported by the KDE plugin, if you're having issues logging in or anything of the sort there's a reset procedure in their GitHub repository
If there's a wallpaper you need or you're having issues with I recommend opening an issue with them
it's not exactly trying to get a specific wallpaper working. I'm just unable to access my application launcher when pressing the start button. I haven't been able to set any wallpaper anymore, Image or not.

Yeah in that case you just need to do the reset procedure
That'll get KDE to behave again
You can do so from a TTY
also sorry for the bad advice, that's just the only method I've seen so far for bambu lab.
