installer errors encountered during boot
So when I try to install Bazzite with Steam Deck using JSAUX 6-in-1 this error occurs and cannot proceed further. Is there any ways to fix this?

Since the microSD reader have 64GB storage it should be better handling the storage

Update: Nvm there was info regarding of this:
If you're having issues booting this ISO, ensure the Setup Utility -> USB Configuration -> USB Dual Role Device setting in your BIOS is set to XHCI and not DRD.I will try this method and see if this solves Okay so it is set to XHCI and dunno what is even causing this error
seems to be a ventoy issue? if you boot the ventoy usb using a different machine and the error still happens, i'd say nuke the ventoy drive and retry again
Yeah I read the error message again and it seems Ventoy for some reason does not boot at all
Will balenaEtcher or Fedora Media Writer work well?
fwiw ventoy 1.1.0 worked just fine for me when installing on deck, also using a jsaux dock, so i'm leaning towards it not being installed correctly for some reason?
but yeah i think balena/fmw should also work. i've never tried though
Okay so interesting, there was a similar issue of mine right here:

Bazzite won't boot installer from USB
Hello, trying to install Bazzite on my Legion Go. I have tried both KDE and Gnome, both have this same issue. Bios up to date, with secure boot disabled. The picture with blue text is the initial boot screen, the 2nd with all white text is what eventually appears when sitting for a few minutes. Any assistance would be appreciated!
It says the USB might have issue
Nevermind, apparently bazzite is picky on thumb drives, had to use something other than this sandisk that I use for Windows installs (which works fine with that, recreated the windows media and tested it).I had no issue installing this with other distro for me So maybe unrelated
yeah, could be that some USB sticks just don't play well (i've had my fair share of it lol). in your case i'm leaning towards a ventoy installation issue though, since the error message clearly points to
/dev/ventoy
. do try to see if either balena or fmw ends up working!
or if you choose to try a diff stickStill happening

Wondering why the iso file really hates SanDisk so much
happening on other machines also?
Okay trying out with microSD card that I have
I have microSD reader that allows to use as USB drive
if it's happening on multiple computers with different drives, perhaps you can try redownloading the iso
Okay so does Samsung one works well when installing Linux in overall?
I could try avoiding SanDisk if this issue persists
funnily enough not only did i install bazzite on a deck and using a jsaux dock, i was also using a sandisk cruzer blade lol
i have like 3 sandisk sticks, have never had a problem with them. so i i don't think it's a sandisk issue per se
Since the iso size is very big and I had 16GB on my installation media I am probably suspecting the USB running out of capacity with the temporary files generated with boot image or something
Solution
Since the microSD reader have 64GB storage it should be better handling the storage
IT WORKS
Yeah the capacity issue
nice, glad you solved it!!
Yeah for people who had same issue: Try using USB with over 32GB, 16GB won't work with Bazzite
wait, this is bazzite-deck we're talking about or? bc my stick is also 16 GB and it went... fine... i didnt have anything else inside but the bazzite-deck iso though, so that could b why
or i just got lucky
That's weird

idk it's perhaps just another hardware lottery kind of stuff
