The hostname is using Cloudflare and cannot be activated with an TXT or HTTP validation token.

I'm using Cloudflare SaaS for custom domains, but it asks me to point root to SaaS zone, but sadly GoDaddy does not let me to target root to the SaaS zone - what can I do? 
 The hostname is using Cloudflare and cannot be activated with an TXT or HTTP validation token. To activate the custom hostname, the DNS target needs to point to the SaaS zone
