Resizing partition

So I have installed bazzite on my secondary drive and took all of the space on it, for to realise that I would need more storage than I thought I would. I'm trying to resize my partition but I get read-only error. What should I do to remove this and being able to remove space from my partition?

You can't resize a partition that is mounted. So you'd need to boot a live USB of any other Linux distro that has Gparted in it (I use Linux Mint for this type of task) and resize your partition from there.

Thanks Is there any chance that it erase data or it’s safe?

Whenever you resize or move a position there is always a risk of data loss. Once you apply the changes there is no way back until it is done with applying them.

Glad that you came right! And thanks @HikariKnight, I usually remember to mention the potential for data loss 😅
