everything about the game is cooked for me, the client and the game itself
i try to open the riot client and it takes forever to open.
it opens then it takes forever to load.
then it loads and then it takes forever for me to see the play button for some reason.
it loads and then i press play, get stuck in the loading screen then get this error message.
also ive realized that the riot client doesnt even show up in the background apps when you click on the arrow in your taskbar. i genuinely dont know whats going on. it started happening 3 days ago. before that i had no problems

ive tried alot of things
i reinstalled everything
and now im trying to reinstall vanguard and its also stuck trying to download
cant get more unfortunate than this

- Open the Task Manager > Details tab
- End the task on all VALORANT, Riot Client and VANGUARD-related apps/services
- Open the Control Panel > Uninstall a Program
- Uninstall Riot VANGUARD
- Open CMD as Admin and type these commands:
- sc delete vgc
- sc delete vgk
- Navigate to your C: Drive, then Program Files
- Find the VANGUARD folder and delete it
- Open the Riot Client and click update
- Restart your computer after the update
After you’re done with that:
- Press Windows key + R
- Type services.msc
- Look for vgc
- Right-click on vgc > Properties
- Change the startup type to automatic
- Start the services (if not started already)

Open control panel
And delete vanguard
vanguard is gone dawg
Download auto runs from the system internal suite
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns
When you have it open press file, and then run as administrator
Then uncheck anything that is red or yellow
Except Vanguard and anything that fails to be unchecked
Restart your computer and then try the game again

Dw if no vanguard, follow the other steps

to update to get vanguard again
So did it work
it downloaded after trying 1000 times'
im seeing if its fixed now
so far the client opened quickly and everything
