His tenures designing at Fendi and Louis Vuitton, his many collaborations (Donda, Nike, Ikea etc.), his foray as creative director for LVMH and his time serving as a board member for the Council of Fashion Designers of America have had far-reaching impact in both streetwear and luxury fashion, particularly in bolstering diversity.

2010s off-white had me in a headlock (still does)
where to start lol... guy was one of the most versatile and creative people in our industry. perhaps more as a curator rather than a designer but the amount of opportunities he gave the next generation is incredible
Not all of his ideas landed and frequent accusations of plagiarism definitely tainted his legacy, however his aesthetics, philosophy and vision still resonate a lot with people
he also created some beautiful items over the years
this is also one of my favorite looks he has ever done
Virgil also had arguably the best commercial eye in fashion
The work he did at LV has got to be some of my favourite on the knits and bag front, all of them were stunning
He killed the entire wizard of oz theme
absolutely. I really appreciated his themes and how he tried to go about them as well
some of the set designs were insane
