uh time to find the workaround service again
@xinoassassin a lot of the time when service centers do repairs on the original go, they do not fill in the BIOS information on the motherboard
……
WTF
I'll feedback to our service
it says something like UKN as the model number
Thanks
Service center complain they donot have dock to connect keyboard
Ask to develop a UEFI program with virtual keyboard
Maybe link to the problem
Anyway i left a note to our Service contact
great. I do not know why the model information is missing, maybe its due to that maybe not
It’s truly unfortunate, but it is what it is. I bought this Legion go on the used market, the guy who had it first bought it from Best Buy on an open box deal. So I’m assuming the original owner had it repaired because I checked the website and in April someone put a ticket in for a repair.
Thank you for taking your time for me
Can you shot a photo from BIOS screen?
need a example to show what's wrong
I reverted it back to windows
Is that going to mess anything up for you on your end?
Under Windows you can use
msinfo32
to check the info from SMBIOS
or just press Vol+ then power to enter advanced boot menu then select BIOS to check the SN/MTMOk I found the MTM
What do I do Now
Take a picture
Put it here

Hm your device has a different product name but is correct

You don't have the same issue as in the past
Maybe
Should have grabbed logs instead of bailing to win unfortunately
Logs?
from linux
So should I attempt to reinstallBazzi again?
Cause I would love for steam OS to work properly
I’ve been having such issues with it. Nothing is working, right
Sure
And this time I'll find the workaround
Sounds great. I will install it right now.

Just showing you how the insulation is in portrait mode
Currently installing bazzite

OK
ok, you have a keyboard?
Yes
plug it in then
ctrl alt f5
then, login with bazzite:bazzite
sudo systemctl start hhd@bazzite
hopefully you didnt change the username
ctrl alt f1
then, once youre back in gamemode, swipe the edges of the screen until you open hhd
or go to desktop and open it
then send a bug report link here
Nothing
go to desktop
open hhd, send bug report

After swiping HHD popped up
go to bug report and send a link
i got the service ready
Ok I just sent it
Thank you
put the link here

copy all of this in a terminal
@xinoassassin board and product name are invalid
when you reboot, everything should work but the screen might not be rotated correctly
in that case i have another command

Command not found
Let me try again
thats not for you
thats the information of your device
the above box is for you
Oh lol
Wow
its ok it did nothing
I’m rebooting right now
The first line command seem to work when I put it in

good
it picked up the rotation fix
maybe
Rotation got fixed
But the buttons aren’t working still
Like the Steam button button
And the menu button
send another log
And power button
lol
Systems frozen
OK, I was finally able to restart it again
Still waiting to login it’s actually taking a little longer than expected
Had to turn it off again it was just stuck in the loading screen
ctrl alt f5, then use the command
sudo reboot
it does not like it when you hold the button
i can see controller
so it works now
Omg yes
Wow
Thank you!!!
I truly appreciate you thank you so much
his MTM loss a code…
the poor service quality
Thank you for all your help
@nightmarsh the service may contact you
I reported
service?
lenovo service
Oh lol
Yeah, I’m just gonna assume that they’re doing this to every Legion go. Kind of crazy how none of the repair teams don’t have keyboards on the side for this stuff.
