Help with Cloudflare domain ns
hi i recently purchased a cloudflare domain and I'm have trouble connecting it to my IONOS hosting. IONOS says I have to change the nameservers on Cloudflare to their own, but I can't seem to find any way to do that. Could someone walk me through changing my nameservers for my domain on Cloudflare? Thanks!

IMO if a webhost ever demands you change to their nameservers, find a better webhost. It's not their job to control access to your domain records, it's their job to host your website.
Lucky for you, you don't have to do that with IONOS. It's only offered as a courtesy, which is common practice for webhosts as they want to be flexible to better support a customer's needs.

Option 2 - Use your domain provider as the DNS provider: The other option is to leave the DNS management to your domain provider as it was previously. This has the advantage of allowing you to continue using all the services of your domain provider without interruption. However, in order to be able to use the functions of your IONOS package with your domain, you must manually adjust the corresponding DNS settings.
thanks!
they sent me an email saying i HAD to use their ns
so i was confused
Yeah it could just be some support agent that doesn't know what they're supporting properly, or they want you to because it makes their life easier down the line when you ask them to help with DNS records since they'd also have access to change it, most likely.
uh another issue ive been having is because i dont actually have ionos hosting but i have wordpress hosting through ionos, so i dont really have a cpanel with ionos. this is why its been difficult because i cant follow any of the steps they present.
idk if i have to do it through wordpress or what
ah that could be different too
i guess i just keep emailing ionos support
because it seems like cloudflare cant do anything ab it
@Dubz (pls ping/reply)

Do you know why this happens??
Currently its pending as an external domain bc it wants me to change nameservers first
Should i remove it for now?
I cant follow the steps without doing this part

I removed it
And it still doesnt let me use my domain
Am i typing it wrong?
need to verify ownership of it first probably
I don't use IONOS so I don't know how their system works
