Super General Question
I have DDNS setup via pfSense. I’m pretty sure it works. I think I’ve noticed an IP change like once. Today my IP changed and DDNS failed to do its thing? I had to manually force an update to resolve the issue. Where might I look to determine the problem? Or is this something that can be expected on occasion?

hmm, are you using the built in Pfsense DDNS plugin?
Do you mind sharing your settings (excluding keys and sensitive data)
if by 'built in plugin' you mean the default DDNS section under Services, then yes. This is not via any external package
