password protect desktop mode from sleep (onscreen keyboard in SDDM)
i installed bazzite on my deck.
i'm trying to somewhat secure it so i'm not as concerned about being logged into my email and youtube on the desktop mode. i want to pasword protect it when i put it to sleep in desktop mode (ideally only when i'm not on my home network)
i found this setting which seems to do what i want but i can't get the onscreen keyboard to show up

The on-screen keyboard can't function in the lock screen, there's a reason there's no lock screen on Steam OS
I'm afraid nothing can be done to fix this

Set a pin lock in steam game mode

that's unfortunate because i usually just play my games in desktop mode
theres no way i could summon a onscreen keyboard and log in the same way i'm assuming tablets would do it?
Nope
And I would recommend against playing games in desktop mode, that is a massive performance loss
Kind of defeats the point of what the device is
i'm just playing visual novels, and i want to be able to alt tab to spotify and google chrome
