Yes tie or no tie ?
Hello, going on a business trip and would like to look sharp but forgot my jacket. Should I wear the tie anyway or ditch it ?

skip the tie imo
Both are fine, in a business setting wearing a tie with no jacket is still considered more formal than without so personally I’d wear a tie
my personal preference would be skip (tieless without jacket usually works better with a wider tie)
that said both look fine imo. in practice i'd wear the tie and just remove it if a bunch of other people are tieless
