KDE HDMI signal dropped when app goes fullscreen
Hi, whenever i'm trying to use an app in fullscreen (playing a youtube video and switching it to fullscreen, launching a game in fullscreen) the HDMI signal gets dropped and the screen goes black, it ends up showing a no signal unless I alt+tab or close the app/fullscreen mode.
This issue seems to be the exact same one: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/1657
But upon checking the display settings, I can't see anything related to adaptive sync.
Anyone knows how to either disable adaptive sync or fix this issue? (or is this just an unfixable issue due to hdmi 2.1 not being ported to Linux?)
Many thanks!

Hi, I was having a similar bug - change adaptive sync in your screenshot to "never" as a workaround for now. Yes that means no freesync/gsync but it's better than a black screen.

Oh god I was tired that day, I didn't see that it was right in the middle of the window. My bad, i'll give it a shot tonight, thanks
