“Burberry” scarf from a thrift store
I got this at Savers many years ago and I’ve always been curious if it’s legit. I’ve never touched a legit Burberry scarf in store with this pattern so I can’t really compare the material
It doesn’t really matter to me too much because I paid a few bucks for it and it’s not full of logos that make it look like it’s trying to be obvious (feel like these types of patterns are so common that it’s not so blatant)

check pattern & label look off
Yeah the check pattern I don’t really notice but the label does look a little like, italicized on a few letters
Burberry has been around for like 170 years - it’s nigh impossible to legit-check most of their older stuff before they became a hype brand.
Also true
Honestly I sometimes wonder how much it matters in the type of case where you’re not actively communicating it’s supposed to be a certain brand with a logo or something. Like if something is a fake/repro but doesn’t look corny or obviously wrong and does its job, how much does it really matter
(Given you didn’t pay a high price ofc)
totally subjective.
the topic of the day is about Dapper Dan, a designer who initially found success thru selling bootleg "knock-ups"
IMO getting a fake of a blank t with a single logo is cringe but some people love that shit
Oh that I do think is cringe tbh
But I’m not big on logos in general
