Lengthening jacket sleeves

So a few days ago I asked about a jacket I bought online only to find that the sleeves are a bit short. I listed it for sale a bunch of places, but it ocurred to me that maybe a tailor could lengthen the sleeves? I've never had that done before so idk how much it can be lengthened. Attached pictues of wearing it and the inside shoulder seam So—would it be possible to get a tailor to make it the proper length or is that too much

(material is cotton if that makes a difference)

Short answer is 'no'. Long answer is no,as going to be impossible to find same fabric, and using a different fabric is probably going to look off If it was a different style jacket, you could probably get away with it if you went all in on the visible repair vibe

yeah kinda what i figured. from cursory searching it seemed like sometimes you can work with whats already there but in this case that's probably not viable

A tailored jacket usually has extra fabric at the cuff folded inside the lining. I doubt you can do much with that jacket. And the cost would probably be higher than it is worth.

ok i know this an old thread, but i'm wondering how it might looks if i went for a visible repair look by having a darker, somewhat contrasting material added near the shoulder hems symmetrically near where I circled. Im thinking something like a true black rather than charcoal like the rest of the jacket

cost would probably still be a lot though
