basically i thought for closest distance if we join them it should make right angle

This works if the path doesn't change at all. But, what about after a starts travelling on BC? What about when b begins travelling on CA?
It's an annoying question because you have to sit and work out all cases
they arent following each other
so the path shouldnt change?
i dont get what you are saying
Read the question again
ye they move along AB , BC , CA
and those rods are fixed
ants are a, b ,c
they arnt moving along ab they are moving along AB
i read it again it definately says 3 solid rods are joined and they mentioned they are moving along rods only
wait
Yes, but once a reaches point B, it's going to turn around
i dont understand last part of question
oh i see
