Terrible rank experience
Yoru in my team has been disconnected for nearly the whole match(right after first round so we can't remake). It became an unfair match as it's 4v5 so we lost obviously.
However I don't understand why I still lost 21 rr if it is nearly an unwinnable match? Why can't u make us loss less rr if a teammate afk more than 3 or 5 rounds?

the amount of mmr you have is dependent on several factors and not just a win or a loss. the fact that he disconnected from the match does not influence your personal performance at all (which seems negative to me) and thus removing 21 rr from u
And as yume said, if the game make you lose less rr pp would start abusing this system
