any of them markovnikov's rule they both form a tertiary carbocation as intermediate the same carbocation, actually in general, the second alkene is more stable from the get-go since its more substituted if that's what you're asking

its not exactly resonance but more hyperconjugative structures yes there's no actual resonance in any of them yeah any of the two would be correct its not like there's always one way only to synthesize a chemical
