Sticky messages
So, I wanted to confirm if the bot csm actually create sticky messages, because I remember seeing somewhere it was possible but now I am unsure if it was true. Thank you

Thanks for answering, I knew I didn't imagine it but couldn't find a command.
May I ask an unrelated question I also had? It is about self roles
of course, go ahead
Ty
Is there a way that in a given message with reaction/button, you may only have one of the options at the same time? For example with colors, if I already have Red and then grab Blue, the role for red gets deleted and so on.
This functionality is only available for button roles. After you've created your button roles, likely with
/roles builders button-roles
, you can edit advanced settings via /settings roles button-role-settings
In there the button switch you wanna press is Only One
. This will remove any previously taken role from your member if they take another one.Ohhh, hadn´t seen that command before. Thank you so much
Discovered the bot a few weeks ago for a new server and I´m seriously trying to use almost anything possible. :AMsheepcheer:
im happy to hear that :AyakoLove:
mention me any time if you need more input
:AMWaveHi: Good night
nini :Pat:
Came back faster than I thought with two questions regarding settings. But before anything, hello there :AMShinobuWave:
Now, what does
/settings mod invite
actually do?
And a more general question. For example, in anti-spam configs, "Allowlisted channel" means in that channel I can spam or is where the anti-spam rules are on?
Because trying to set automation settings, nothing really happensHi again :HappyBun:
/settings mod invites
will take actions against anyone who posts invites
Allowlisted Channels are the channels in which Ayako allows spamming
Ayako also ignores spam from admins, so make sure you don't have admin while testing anti-spam functionsThanks, now I got it to work... More or less. Does it have an internal cd?
I asked my test subject to spam links but only got warned once, and then made him spam word "Lanza" and nothing happened.
Tested both with an staff role (not marked as Admin though) and without it
Probably it is an error on my side
The anti-spam CDs are listed in the settings embed. There are different CDs for spam and duplicate message spam
The invite filter has no CDs, if you want I could come along and take a look at it
Hi again, I´m sorry, university distracted me and forgot to answer. For the spam rule, I set it up for 5 messages, 5 repeated and a 20 threshold, it may be it.
For the link censor, with come along you mean like, entering the server?
the threshold may be too high, you'll need to play with the settings a little to find your perfect fit
and yes thats what i meant
English isn´t my native language so maybe I understood the threshold the other way around, I think I have that problem with the bot´s short descriptions.
No problem then, made my test subject try again with the server links and happened the same, was only warned and censored first time.
alrighty, is this about
Yet another roleplay server
?Yup.
if you dont mind ill be checking your config tomorrow as it is quite late for debugging. You don't need to do anything else until then
Thanks and no problem, take as long as you need. I still believe I messed with permissions and other mod configs.
Thanks again for all this help.
no worries :AMcheer:
Issue created: [Anti-Invite] only detects external invites once
hey, thanks for letting me know about this
there was an issue in ayako's request handler where it would assign the invite to the server the invite was posted on, essentially making it invisible for her
she's restarting with the fixed code rn, once you come back she'll likely already be up and running
It works a little slow now but every link gets deleted and warned as expected. Thank you for solving this :AMVibe:
the slowness is a trade-off for accuracy
most bots just ban links on sight, ayako makes sure the link is actually undesired
your members can post links of the same server, for example voice channel invites
Totally fair ngl
May I ask one last thing? Just general help with anti spam. There is something I still messed up since it won't detect spam.
My test subjects have no Admin role, my only Allowlisted channel is the spam channel and yet, nothing. Tried the same 5 messages in both 5s and 20s threshold.
lemme duplicate your settings
i cant reproduce this. Please make sure ayako's highest role is above the members highest role she's trying to punish
Ayako's highest role and also has Admin
do you have a custom-client running?
Nope
is it okay if i take a closer look into your server to figure out what's wrong?
-# by consenting you basically grant me admin permissions, ill make sure to keep your server untouched or restore it to what it was before i joined after im done
Do as you need, don't worry. :AMVibe:
is it possible you had more than the spam channel allowlisted before?
Went to check. Spam channel the only one configured. Also no user/role allowlisted
i mean before you allowed spam in the spam channel
I don't think so. Created the channel at the same time I used the command for the first time
interesting

i fixed it by un-setting and re-setting the spam channel as allowed channel
In fact, I created spam channel just to fill out the Allowlisted
im assuming the cache was outdated, but i cant verify that
Just restarting the config. As a programing student I feel ashamed for not trying it out before lol
dont feel ashamed, this shouldnt happen
ill have to investigate into that issue
Issue created: Verify cache integrity and TTL settings
I see
I feel like I should also mention that trying to create a members rule (denylist config) results into Missing Access error
that feature needs your server to be a community server, else it doesnt support automod rules
ayakos denylist config is simply another way to set up automod, because discord has still not added this for mobile
Ah, then it will be configured later when server is finished.
Looks like everything should be fine as of now
thank you for making ayako better
Thank you for your time and help
