Casual Black Boot recommendations?
So my Doc Martens are letting in water at the seams and the sole is cracked to shit. I would like to move on to something a bit better that will hold up. My budget is around £200 but can be convinced to go higher if well reasoned lol!

I actually already have a pair of solovair boots in brown and I appreciate the quality. I can definitely look into getting another pair in black if that's the best recommendation!
If you're happy with the way docs look the alternative option is get a nearly new pair on Vinted for about £50.
tbh the best options for black combat boots were actual vintage surplus combat boots but those dried out quick these last couple of years
I honestly think modern doc martens are not even worth 50 quid new
I am against buying doc martens now with my current boots deteriorating so badly

These are nice but I think the brand is more hiking than I prefer. Looking for something that wouldn't be out of place casually at work too (healthcare/office)

The solovairs are a solid option though if you're after that classic minimal combat boot
Ah yes, forgot about Grenson. I actually have a pair of brogues from them but unfortunately it looks like my size is out of stock in everything
Yeah I think it's my best bang for buck atm. Would've preferred if it was slightly higher though
