Gamescope & Heroic Launcher (Deck image)
Hello,
I encountered an issue with launching heroic launcher games in which they were not using the system Gamescope.
Heroic launcher was installed through discover (flatpak,) and as such was not hooking to Gamescope due to flatpak being flatpak.
This was resolved by installing the Gamescope flatpak, however there's no mention of this in the documentation for Bazzite.
Is this by design? Should there not be some information for new users on what to do if they use heroic launcher?

This is by design because we do not ship heroic, you install it yourself.
You're expected to read their documentation then
Hello - Thanks for the response.
I understand this was installed by myself (and possibly many others,) but there should be a section included within the Bazzite documentation under the launchers section for clarity.
It's only after scouring threads where the correct Gamescope runtime to be used was identified.
Not having any complaints rather than a suggestion to avoid duplicate help-threads in the future
