No video on hdmi port (desktop)
Hello,
I'm sorry if this is a known issue, but I couldn't find any information about it. I've just installed Bazzite (Nvidia RTX, KDE, without Steam gaming mode). It booted fine, but I only have a picture on one monitor, which is connected via DisplayPort. The second one is connected via HDMI and works fine on Windows and Ubuntu. It is recognised, but there is no video.
Thanks a lot and best regards π

Hi! Just to rule out the trivial questions, have you already verified that you're forwarding any video output to that screen?
In other words: if you press Super+P which mode is selected?
If super = windows key, then super+P does nothing
make sure the screen is enabled in the display settings
test 1080p@60hz to make sure its not a bandwidth issue and go up from there
720p works, back to 1080p worked too but only for a while
weird, did it few times and now video stays
it worked because refresh rate got lowered to 60fps
1080p@120hz works
1080p@144hz doesnt works
bandwith issue then, could be cable or it could be nvidia regression if it worked before at 1920x1080@144hz
it works on windows, and it worked on other distro at 144hz, i can verify other cable but i doubt it
leaning towards nvidia driver regression then
maybe update will fix it or something, for now i will stay with 120hz or change to displayport
you can rebase to an older release lets say 14 days or something close ago and see if that changes anything as there have been a recent nvidia driver update
Okay, thanks a lot for your help, I really appreciate it.
