Can’t play valorant
I’ve recently upgraded from a 3060 to a 5080 and for whatever reason I can play any game except for valorant. I can sometimes load up the game but if I go into a game like the practice range it would instantly close. I have to constantly relaunch the game and it still doesn’t work and for the 1 ranked game I was able to play, it was a glitchy mess where finishing animations would glitch out my pc. I’ve tried to do a clean wipe of riot and valorant to reinstall but I can’t even delete the client.

what type of cpu do you have
Valorant is a cpu based game not a gpu based game

Have u tried reinstalling the gpu drivers

I can’t even delete riot client cause it’s hiding in my pc

First thing I did after I swapped everything

I still gotta download WiFi drivers and everything again?
should ahve waited before getting a 50 series card so many issues w them lmao
and resetting your pc should keep all the essential drivers
Well it’s like impossible to get a 50 card
That 12 hour wait was worth it

Use ddu
Look up a yt tutorial on how to delete all graphice drivere using ddu
Then install drivers for the 5080 from the website
The 5080 drivers are on the NVIDIA app I believe

There is a hotfix for that

Yeah that's disappointing, do you have any error messages, or code, and in which version of Windows are you in?
Nah it just closes on its own
I fixed it but the finishing animations still lag my pc
Did you download the official hotfix from nvidia?
enable secure boot if you haven’t already

Now it’s just the finishers that causes stuttering
GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 572.24 seemed to fix my issues with RTX 5080. Can be found in Nvidia support website
The new 50 series cards have issues i have heard
