Shoe polish stain removal
Hey. I am looking for solutions on how to get rid of shoe polish stains on the other parts of my shoes (that I don’t want polish on).

Magic eraser, but that dye is probably gonna be baked in at this point
Do you think acetone would work?
It would definitely strip it, but not knowing what that sole is made of, I wouldn’t start with it
It feels like rubber
Might affect it, might not. Up to you if you want to try it.
I don’t want to risk damaging the shoe. Should I just dye that area white?
Can’t really dye things white, but you could try - definitely safer. I’d start with a magic eraser, vinegar, or maybe rubbing alcohol, and then you could try to cover it.
If desperate try acetone on a Q tip, but again, could eat away at it.
The Mr Clean Magic Eraser or no?
Yeah, that usually does the trick for white soles
